Small Birch Leaf Shawl

Letzte Woche ist ein Projekt von den Nadeln gehüpft, das als Beschäftigung für zwischendurch schon eine ganze Weile herumlag – ein kleiner Bottom-Up Birch Shawl aus selbstgesponnener Neuseelandlamm-Wolle auf 3 mm Nadeln und wiegt gerade mal 70 Gramm. Die gezackte Kante ist analog zum Flower Basket Shawl gestrickt und gibt dem Shawl einen gewissen Pfiff.

After being on the needles for a while I finally finished my mini bottom-up Birch shawl. It served as an in between project when I didn’t want to think much. Yeah yeah, I know, my standards in this regard might seem a bit odd 😉 It’s worked out of hand-spun new zealand lamb’s wool on needles #3 mm and weighs about 70 grams. The pointed border is done according to the Flower Basket Shawl pattern and I find it gives the Birch a certain flair.
