Diamonds and Purls vest – finished

Pünktlich zum Geburtstag meiner Mutter ist er fertig geworden, der Westover aus 2-ply Jamieson&Smith Shetland Garn. Ich mag das Garn sehr gerne und komischerweise ist das Stricken mit 3er Nadeln nicht so langwierig wie man immer annimmt. Heute ist nun der Ehrentag und ich hoffe nun natürlich, dass das gute Stück auch passt. Da wir beide fast die gleiche Konfektionsgröße haben und mir der Westover passt, gehe ich einfach mal davon aus.

Right on time I finished my mom’s birthday present this week. I really like working with Jamieson&Smith 2-ply Shetland yarn and working it on 3 mm needles is not as tedious as it may seem. Today is the big day and I’m hoping I got the size right. Considering that my mom and me nearly wear the same size in clothes and that the vest fits me just fine it should be okay.
